Robert W. Shively is the founding member of Shively Law Group, PC, LLO in Lincoln, Nebraska. His trial practice focuses on the defense of personal injury and wrongful death cases, including motor vehicle, premises liability, and product liability matters. Mr. Shively also has an active mediation practice. He served as a Regional Director for DRI from 2010-2013. Mr. Shively served as DRI State Representative from 1999 – 2003, and is a former president of the Nebraska Defense Counsel Association. DRI presented Mr. Shively with the Fred H. Sievert Outstanding Defense Bar Leader Award for 2007. He is a member of the Association of Defense Trial Attorneys and the Academy of Distinguished Neutrals. He is a former president of the Lincoln Bar Association, and was a longtime member of IADC and Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel.
