Mr. Schultz has tried over 55 jury trial to verdict covering areas such as professional malpractice, products liability, and general personal injury litigation. Mr. Schultz Is a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers. He has been recognized as a Super Lawyer for the last 7 years. He was selected 2011 Indiana Defense Lawyer of The Year by The Defense Trial Counsel of Indiana. He is the DRI North Central Regional Director and serves on the DRI Board of Directors. He is Chair of the DRI SLDO Relations Committee and also serves on the DRI Membership Committee. He is a Past-President of the Defense Trial Counsel of Indiana and served three years as the DRI Indiana State Representative. Mr. Schultz is also a Past President of the American Board of Trial Advocates (Indiana Chapter)and a member of the Association of Defense Trial Attorneys and the International Association of Defense Counsel. Mr. Schultz has presented briefs and oral argument before the Indiana Supreme Court, the Indiana Court of Appeals and the Seventh Circuit. He has spoken on various topics including trial tactics, nursing home malpractice and mediation.
