Steve Gerber is a partner in Schoeman Updike Kaufm LLP, a boutique certified women-owned law firm with offices in New York City and New Jersey. A former federal prosecutor in New Jersey, Steve has more than 35 years’ experience defending Fortune 500s, governmental entities and educational institutions from pre-claim counseling, and agency proceedings through trials and appeals in discrimination, harassment, ADA, FMLA, whistle-blower, and wage and hour litigation before New York’s and New Jersey’s federal and state courts. Mr. Gerber is a past member of DRI’s Board of Directors and its Law Institute, a past chair of DRI’s Employment & Labor Law Committee, and a member of the FDCC and the ADTA.
