Sharon Stuart devotes her practice to civil trial work, arbitration, and appeals. Focusing on complex commercial and insurance litigation, Sharon also handles a variety of pharmaceutical, medical device and other product liability litigation as national, regional or local counsel. She has tried a wide range of cases - from business tort claims and contract disputes to commercial and insurance fraud and bad faith suits, to wrongful death cases. She has defended class action lawsuits in areas as diverse as financial products, insurance, product liaility/toxic tort and employment law.

Sharon is listed in The Best Lawyers in America in the categories of commercial litigation, mass tort/class action defense, securities litigation, product liability litigation, labor & employment, and insurance law. She was recognized by Best Lawyers as Birmingham Lawyer of the Year for Insurance Law in 2018. She has been voted one of the Top 25 Women Alabama Super Lawyers and Top 50 Women Mid-South Super Lawyers for multiple years. Sharon is active in DRI, having served on the WITL steering committee in numerous capacities. She is President of the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association. She serves as a Trustee at Samford University and is a Member of the Board of Directors at Attorneys Insurance Mutual of the South.
