Member Bio

A 1986 graduate of Georgia State University College of Law, Mark began practicing after completing a clerkship for the Superior Court judges in the Augusta Judicial Circuit. Over the last 28 years he has practiced in the areas of medical malpractice, professional malpractice, long term care, class action defense, premises liability, automobile liability, workers' compensation, transportation, insurance coverage, appellate practice and construction. Presently he focuses on medical malpractice, long term care and aging services, hospitality and retail liability and appellate practice. He has published articles and book reviews and has contributed to the Writers' Corner in For the Defense. Mark has also appeared as a guest on the program, Law and Society on WAIB, a local Atlanta, Georgia television station and has been a panelist at CLEs. He is the Chair of the Georgia Defense Association's Appellate Practice Committee. Outside the practice of law, he is the Chair of the Georgia Chapter of the Republican National Lawyers Association. Mark has been a member of DRI since 1996. He is a member of the Appellate Pracitce Committee and is the Vice-chair of Intergration for the Retail & Hospitality Committee.
