Frank Ramos is a partner at Clarke Silverglate, where he practices in the areas of product liability, pharmaceutical and medical device defense, employment, medical malpractice, general liability, class action and commercial litigation. In addition, he is a certified circuit and county court mediator. He is a summa cum laude grad with a B.A. from Florida International University in 1993 and a magna cum laude grad with a J.D. from the University of Miami in 1997.

He has written four books (The Associate’s Handbook, Attorney Marketing 101, Training Your Law Firm Associates and From Law School to Litigator) and has edited four other books for defense trial lawyers (The Defense Speaks, DRI’s The Defense Manual, the Deposition Manual and Leadership for Lawyers). He has written over 160 articles and has edited several legal publications.

He serves on the board of the Defense Research Institute and is a past President of the Florida Defense Lawyers Association and was Inaugural Chair of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Historical Society. He served on the board of the Dade County Defense Bar Association, Legal Services of Greater Miami and Parent to Parent of Miami, an advocacy group for families with special needs children, and currently serves on the board for Florida Christian School.

He is AV rated and has been named a leading lawyer by Best Lawyers, South Florida Legal Guide, Florida Super Lawyers and Florida Legal Elite. He is also a member of the Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel.
