Member Bio

I am a member of Thompson Hine's business litigation practice group, in the firm's Cleveland office. In addition to litigation, my practice is concentrated in the areas of legal ethics, professional responsibility and the business of law.

I teach legal ethics to law students as an adjunct professor at Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, and I frequently speak and publish on the subject of attorney ethics. You can read our firm's legal ethics blog, which I co-edit, by going to thelawforlawyerstoday.com.

I am a vice-chair of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association's Certified Grievance Committee, which investigates allegations of attorney misconduct.

I am also chair of the Ohio State Bar Association's Professionalism Committee and chair of its ethics opinions sub-committee. The sub-committee issues informal ethics opinions in response to questions on the Ohio Rules of Professional Conduct.
