W. JASON RANKIN of Edwardsville, Illinois, is a partner of the Firm. Mr. Rankin is a trial attorney and his practice areas include the defense of class action, pharmaceutical, products liability, and general negligence lawsuits and insurance defense.

Mr. Rankin graduated in 1993 from Drake University, Des Moines, Iowa, Magna Cum Laude and with University Honors, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a minor in Spanish. He graduated from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, Missouri, in 1996. In law school, Mr. Rankin was a member of the Washington University Journal of Urban and Contemporary Law, serving as Associate Editor. Mr. Rankin also placed second in the 1995-1996 Washington University Environmental Law Moot Court Competition.

Mr. Rankin is licensed in Illinois and Missouri and has extensive experience in State and Federal Trial and Appellate Courts. Mr. Rankin serves as Marketing Chair of the DRI Commercial Litigation Committee.

Mr. Rankin is active in community service and is a member of the City of Edwardsville Mobile Intensive Care System Trust Committee.
