Lloyd Bernstein's practice focuses on litigation, with an emphasis on insurance coverage disputes and extra-contractual/bad-faith lawsuits. He advises and represents clients on all aspects of first and third party insurance issues presented by personal, commercial and specialty lines; business interruption; fraud and employee dishonesty; media and technology; cyber liability; professional liability; products and construction; excess and reinsurance; and punitive damage claims. Mr. Bernstein also advises clients on, and has extensive experience litigating, all types of general, business and commercial torts; products, professional and premises liability; contract; and catastrophic injury and wrongful death disputes. He has tried over 10 cases to verdict in State and Federal court.
Mr. Bernstein leads the firm’s Liability Insurance Coverage Practice Group. He is also a member of the firm's Diversity Committee. Mr. Bernstein is Regional Litigation Counsel for PetSmart, Inc. in California and the Pacific Northwest.
