Gary Schuman is an Independent Consultant in the life and health insurance industry, providing leagal advice on claims, underwriting and good-faith practices. He formally was Senior Litigation Counsel at Combined Insurance Company of America, a Chubb subidiary, responsible for providing legal advice and litigation management for contract and bad faith cases on a national basis for individual claims, underwriting and policyholder service matters for life and health insurance issues as well as employment counseling and litigation/arbitration management. Mr. Schuman lectures frequently and is widely published in life, health and disability insurance issues. Mr. Schuman is a former chair (2010-2012) of the DRI's Life, Health and Disability Committee.
