Julie Walker has extensive experience as a trial lawyer representing individuals and businesses in federal and state courts as well as in arbitrations and mediations. She has tried both jury and bench trials to verdict in Colorado and other jurisdictions. She has handled complex litigation for all types of businesses in a variety of matters involving construction, professional liability, product liability, financial services, complex torts, employment and commercial litigation. Ms. Walker is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell and identified by The Legal 500 United States as one of the top product liability lawyers for 2009-2010. In 2011 she was chosen Best Construction Defects Defense Lawyer by her peers in the Law Week Colorado “People’s Choice” awards.
Ms. Walker is active in a number of professional legal organizations where she has held leadership positions including the Colorado Bar Association, William E. Doyle’s Inn of Court and DRI. Over the past several years, Ms. Walker has been highly active in the DRI Women in the Law Committee where she currently serves as Chair of the Website Subcommittee. She is also Vice President and a Board Member of the Colorado Lawyers for the Arts. Ms. Walker also frequently teaches trial advocacy as a member of the National Institute for Trial Advocacy Faculty.
