Colette is a shareholder with Acker & Whipple and serves on the firm's management committee. She earned her B.S. in Business Administration from the University of the Pacific and received her J.D. from Tulane University School of Law, graduating cum laude.

She is admitted to the California State Bar and local United States District Courts. Colette is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, Association of Southern California Defense Counsel, and of course the Defense Research Institute. She has been most actively involved in the Trial Tactics committee, serving in positions such as committee membership chair, sponsorship chair for the Damages seminar, program chair for the Trial Tactics seminar, and program co-chair for the Complex Medicine Seminar. She has most recently been appointed committee vice-chair.

Colette's defense litigation practice includes premises liability, product liability, and general tort litigation. She is also actively involved in the firm's law practice management and client development.
