Mr. Gavin is an accomplished trial attorney practicing in the St. Louis metropolitan area and other jurisdictions throughout the country. His primary areas of practice include professional liability, medical malpractice, insurance coverage and bad faith litigation, class actions, and catastrophic personal injury, and he has extensive experience in high exposure personal injury and commercial cases. He defends health care providers, including physicians, physicians’ groups, hospitals, and other health care institutions in medical negligence cases. Mr. Gavin's experience representing non-medical professionals in E&O litigation includes insurance agents and brokers, third party administrators, corporate directors, and actuaries. He also defends clients in class actions and has specialized expertise in the representation of persons and entities alleged to have violated the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). Mr. Gavin is also experienced in representing both insureds and insurers in complex coverage disputes and bad faith litigation.
