John P. Morgenstern serves as the Managing Partner of O’Hagan Meyer’s Philadelphia and New Jersey offices where he specializes in advising, investigating, containing, and defending claims and allegations against his clients, especially during difficult times. He has earned the rating of AV Preeminent, the highest possible rating in professional and ethical standards from Martindale-Hubbell.

John and his team represent architects, engineers and accountants in professional liability matters as well as governmental entities, including police departments, in cases involving alleged civil rights violations. He represents employers in employment and labor disputes in additional to matters involving commercial and general liability and insurance coverage issues.

John served in the U.S. Army JAG Corps overseas and was awarded the Bronze Star Medal in Baghdad in February 2004. He also deployed to the Balkans in support of NATO peacekeeping operations. John served as Officer in Charge of the Patton Legal Center, Trial Counsel, Part-time Military Magistrate Judge, Chief of Claims, Article 32 Investigating Officer and Ethics Counselor for V Corps in Heidelberg, Germany.

John enjoys running, swimming and spending time with his wife and their two children.
