Firm Information
Williams, Leininger & Cosby has served as trial counsel for insurance, government, and businesses throughout Florida for over 20 years with a strong presence in South Florida, Treasure Coast and Space Coast. We have tried hundreds of cases to verdict in both state and federal courts. We have also represented clients on appeals at all levels, including the Supreme Court of the United States.

Evaluating cases early is critical to our client's success. We work closely with our insurance and risk management professionals in charting a successful course for each case. Our attorneys will take an aggressive posture when necessary and look forward to representing our clients at trial. Likewise, we recognize when circumstances make settlement the best option.

When representing government entities, we are sensitive to the political and regulatory implications of our litigation. At our client's direction, we will work with them in responding to inquiries from the press and news media.

In 1995, Jim Williams and Carri Leininger opened the firm's West Palm Beach office to serve clients throughout the state. In 2000, we opened our Stuart office in order to better serve our clients in the 19th Judicial Circuit, which includes Martin, St. Lucie, Indian River and Okeechobee counties. Jeff Cosby, a former Assistant State Attorney for the 19th Judicial Circuit, manages this office.

Our knowledge of local courts, judges, and attorneys makes Williams, Leininger & Cosby a perfect choice as local counsel. We are pleased to work with clients and their national counsel to coordinate local strategies.
