Ms. Eaton serves her business clients' litigation and transactional needs. She is an experienced trial lawyer, having handled product liability, industrial accident, toxic tort, and commercial litigation, including class actions, mass tort litigation, multi-district litigation and complex, document-intensive matters. Admitted in state and federal courts in NC, SC and FL, she has been selected as one of "North Carolina's Best Lawyers" for Product Liability litigation and has an AV Martindale-Hubbell rating. Ms. Eaton is also co-Chair of Spilman's Construction Practice Group, assisting construction-industry clients with preparation, negotiation and review of construction project documents, including AIA and Consensus Docs, navigating clients through claims resolution, developing litigation avoidance and best practices plans, and defending construction clients in litigation through trial. She is the current Vice-Chair of DRI's Construction Law Committee's Construction Defect SLG, Chair of the North Carolina Bar Association's Construction Law Section, and co-author of the Licensing Chapter of the NCBA's "North Carolina Construction Law Deskbook." Ms. Eaton is also committed to public service, having served on DRI's Public Service Committee, chaired the WITL Public Service Committee, and chaired several state-wide service days and public service projects through NCBA.
