Katherine Lawler concentrates her practice on defending companies in mass tort and personal injury matters. She has defended hospitals, product manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers against product liability and toxic tort claims on local, regional, and national levels. She has managed numerous local and national trial teams, developing effective risk management strategies and trial themes. She currently serves as national coordinating counsel for a major manufacturer of consumer products.

Over more than a decade as a litigator, Mrs. Lawler has developed complex medical and scientific defenses, corporate defenses, and has helped her clients develop corporate and expert witnesses. She has experience building strategic themes across multiple disciplines to coordinate discovery and motions practice for clients on national and industry-wide levels. She focuses on problem-solving for her corporate and insurance clients at every stage of litigation.

Along with tort litigation, Mrs. Lawler devotes part of her practice to pro bono cases in the areas of social justice, special education, family law, and animal welfare. Mrs. Lawler serves on the firm’s Pro Bono Committee, Diversity Equity & Inclusion Committee, Associates and Paralegals Committees. She is currently the DE&I Liaison to the Associates Committee.
