Member Bio

Jennifer Reid is from Greensboro, NC. She received her B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her J.D. from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University. At Cumberland, Jennifer served as Vice President of her Senior Class, Associate Justice of the Moot Court Board, Judge Abraham Caruthers Legal Research and Writing Teaching Fellow, and was President and Vice President of the Black Law Students Association. She also received Scholar of Merit Awards in Trial Advocacy and Negotiation, competed nationally as a member of Cumberland's National Arbitration Team in 2005 and 2006, and was a member of Who's Who Among American Law Students.

Jennifer is an Associate, having begun practice with the firm in 2007. Her practice is concentrated in Automotive Product Liability Litigation, Professional Liability, Insurance Defense Litigation, and Family Law and Litigation.

She is a member of the Alabama State Bar, American Bar Association, Young Lawyers Section of the Birmingham Bar Association, and the Alabama Lawyers Association. She is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts in the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Alabama. Jennifer also serves on the University of Alabama at Birmingham's Minority Health and Health Disparities Research Center (MHRC) Young Professionals Board.
