Rachel Daly is an experienced litigator, with a broad range of courtroom litigation experience. She has tried a number of cases as lead counsel, managing teams of attorneys and paralegals both in trial preparation and at trial. Rachel has represented clients in both state and federal courts and has successfully argued appeals in the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.

She represents hospitals in litigation specific to the health care industry, including hospital-physician disputes, physician credentialing matters and medical malpractice litigation.

Rachel’s practice includes defending tobacco companies in smoking and health litigation, where complex scientific and medical issues as well as tens of millions of dollars are at stake. She also counsels clients in construction design and defect coverage and litigation

She began her legal practice defending public officials. For several years, she concentrated her practice on defending cities and counties and their law enforcement and rescue personnel. Rachel still devotes part of her time to this work, which she greatly enjoys.
