Taren N. (Stanton) Butcher represents corporate and individual clients in complex business torts and commercial disputes related to breach of contract, contract and commercial disputes, and breach of fiduciary duties. Ms. Stanton Butcher also has experience with matters concerning product liability and tort litigation.

Ms. Stanton Butcher regularly practices in Maryland's federal and state trial courts and has experience in both Maryland and the District of Columbia. She is admitted to practice in Maryland, the U.S. District Corut for the District of Maryland, the District of Columbia, the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.

Ms. Stanton Butcher is actively involved in pro bono matters and served as a volunteer to the Washington Legal Clinic for the Homeless.

Ms. Stanton Butcher served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable William D. Quarles, Jr. in the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland after graduating cum laude from the University of Baltimore School of Law, where she served as Managing Editor on the Law Forum Journal and was the recipient of the Dean Citation for Outstanding Service to the Law School Community.
