Jamie’s broad based commercial litigation practice encompasses complex business disputes, professional liability matters, insurance defence, real estate disputes, fraud recovery and defence, product liability, intellectual property claims, employment matters, and class action defence. Jamie advises clients in a wide range of sectors which have included insurance, commercial real estate, telecommunications, construction, manufacturing, mining, oil and gas, finance, and professional services.

Jamie has significant experience for his year of call, having served as counsel at several trials, appeals, arbitrations, injunctions, inquests, and regulatory hearings. Jamie has also served as independent legal counsel to the discipline and appeals committee of the Real Estate Council of Ontario. He provides pro bono services through the Ontario Court of Appeal Amicus program.

Before joining Clyde & Co., Jamie articled and practiced for eight years at a prominent commercial litigation boutique in Toronto. Jamie was called to the Ontario Bar in 2007 and obtained his LL.B from Queen’s University in 2006.
