Hollingsworth LLP is among the nation’s leading litigation firms. All of our seventy lawyers specialize in complex trial and appellate work. We handle any litigation challenge, but the majority of our work is for corporate clients in the areas of pharmaceutical products, medical devices, toxic torts and products liability, financial institutions, federal claims, government contracts, insurance, environmental, and white collar defense. We are called upon to solve our clients’ toughest litigation problems nationwide and, in consequence, we regularly have the lead in landmark cases and on cutting-edge litigation theories and defenses. We have taught law school courses, authored leading treatises, spoken at national conferences for judges and lawyers, and served on the editorial staff of media outlets. We also host private seminars for our clients, including the country’s longest-running seminar on toxics litigation. We independently advance our clients’ interests through our memberships in the Sedona Conference, Lawyers for Civil Justice, the Products Liability Advisory Council, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce National Litigation Center’s Constitutional and Administrative Law Committee, the Council for Court Excellence, the American Law Institute, and more.
We maintain our only office in the District of Columbia, and support our community as both lawyers and business people. We encourage pro bono representation through the District of Columbia Bar Association and other local organizations. We also participate in fund-raisers for charitable groups, such as the annual Lawyers Have Heart run and Breast Cancer Awareness activities
