mike focuses his practice on litigation. he handles aviation cases and business disputes, and is also experienced in insurance-related matters, employment cases, and the defense of police officers in civil rights lawsuits. prior to entering private practice, mike served as a criminal prosecutor for the cook county state's attorney's office.

mike approaches each new matter with an eye towards achieiving the most efficient and favorable resolution possible, and prides himself on his responsiveness to clients' needs and business interests.

mike has handled all types of aviation-related cases, including airline crashes, general aviation accidents, products liability, regulatory matters and commercial litigation on behalf of aviation industry businesses. he frequently publishes and presents on various aspects of aviation law.
