Edderek “Beau” Cole's practice includes product liability, personal injury, premises liability, FHA/ADA compliance, environmental and insurance disputes. Over the last 20 years, Cole has litigated myriad matters to conclusion, from small, but emotionally charged low-exposure landlord-tenant disputes to complex, “bet the company” matters. In that short time, Cole has served as lead counsel in numerous trials and arbitrations, including all phases of pre-trial and post-trial litigation in some of the country’s most volatile venues.
Committed to Pro Bono work, Beau has been honored by the Mississippi and Hinds County Bar Associations, The Mississippi Business Journal and multiple Associated Press™ publications. A multi-term appointee to the Mississippi Supreme Court’s “Access to Justice” Commission, “Super Lawyers™ Rising Star” and “AV Preeminent” rated litigator, Cole is a featured speaker on Pro Bono service, legal ethics, insurance subrogation and multi-family housing litigation.
Cole served as chairman of his former firm’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee. With the support of his colleagues, Cole successfully established an “Action Plan” based on an individualized, firm-specific approach to many of the commonly espoused principles of inclusion. That plan is still in use today.
