Mr. Evett graduated from the University of California Hastings College of Law in 1993, and moved back to Boise in 1997 after practicing at the San Francisco law firm of Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison, where he practiced civil litigation in the areas of mass toxic torts and premises liability.

Mr. Evett is the firm's managing director and is an active member of the firm's Banking and Commercial Law groups. He practices primarily in the area of civil litigation, with an emphasis on business and commercial litigation, banking litigation, sports litigation, accounting malpractice, general insurance defense, insurance coverage, product liability, and medical malpractice. Mr. Evett provides consultations on a range of business-related topics, including business formation, partnership and shareholder disputes, and corporate dissolutions. He also works on a pro bono basis representing parties involved in child custody disputes.

Mr. Evett is licensed to practice in state and federal court in Idaho, California, and Oregon, and is licensed before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He has defended many cases to successful verdicts in state trial courts, and has appeared frequently before the Idaho Supreme Court in a variety of cases, including McGloon v. Gwynn, Sullivan v. Todd, and Hestead v. Western Surety Co.
