Member Bio
Noah is a member of the Litigation & Dispute Resolution group. His practice focuses on class action litigation, with particular emphasis on consumer protection, product liability, competition, securities and privacy class actions.
Noah acts regularly for internationally known corporations in the defence of significant private and class actions. Many of his cases have cross-border and international implications and Noah works closely with counsel in the U.S. and other jurisdictions to ensure strategic co-ordination of cases across borders. Noah has extensive experience coordinating all aspects of Canadian multi-jurisdictional class actions.
In addition to representing clients in lawsuits and other litigious proceedings, Noah also advises manufacturers, distributors, importers and retailers on the regulatory requirements of various products, risk management issues and corrective actions including consumer protection legislation, product warnings and recalls.
Noah also has significant knowledge of and experience in e-commerce and the evolving legislation governing online marketplaces. In addition to reviewing general terms and conditions, Noah provides representation in court, and coordinates meetings with Québec’s Consumer Protection Office. By providing a comprehensive range of services, Noah helps companies navigate the online legal landscape to build strategies for success.
Noah is ranked as a Future Star in Litigation by Benchmark Litigation and is included in the Best Lawyers in Canada for Class Action Litigation.
Noah is a frequent speaker on topics related to class actions, consumer protection and product liability and is an active member of the Defense Research Institute (DRI) and sits on its International Steering Committee as Web Page Co-Chair and Vice Chair - North America.
Prior to joining the firm, Noah earned a BA with a double major in journalism and political science from Concordia University, and a double bachelor's degree in civil law and common law from McGill University.
