Brandon hails from Murfreesboro, Tennessee where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, summa cum laude, from Middle Tennessee State University, before earning his law degree, cum laude, from the University of Memphis. While in law school, he served on the Editorial Board of the Law Review and earned the Dean’s Award for Excellence in Legal Methods for writing the best legal memorandum and best appellate brief, and the Dean’s Distinguished Community Service Award for providing more than 100 hours of pro bono legal services to the community. During that time, he served as a research assistant to Professor Robert C.
