I am a partner in the Los Angeles office of Tucker Ellis LLP, a Cleveland-based firm of nearly 200 lawyers. My practice is devoted to intellectual property litigation, and my cases cover the entire realm of I.P. (patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets). I have litigated intellectual property matters in courts throughout the United States, including the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals. I also handle trademark oppositions and cancellations before the Patent and Trademark Office's Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
I believe it is important to partner with a client, determine at the outset what goals the client wishes to achieve in the litigation, and plan a cost-effective strategy for resolving the matter. It also is important for clients to develop strategies for avoiding litigation and baseless claims of infringement, so I am always happy to conduct seminars and training programs for clients.
