Nicole Freiler is a graduate of East Carolina University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Family and Community Services in 2004, and her Masters of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2006. While at East Carolina University, Nicole was admitted to the Kappa Omicron Nu National Honors Society.

Nicole attended the Villanova University School of Law, obtaining her Juris Doctorate in 2012. While at Villanova, Nicole earned the Dean’s Merit Scholarship in each of her three years and participated in the Pro Bono Society and the Villanova Sentencing Workshop.

Prior to entering law school, Nicole worked as a therapist at inpatient and outpatient substance abuse and mental health treatment facilities, and served as a therapist and team member with the Montgomery County Drug Court program. Nicole also worked as a supervisor and treatment coordinator at a group home for children in the foster care and juvenile justice systems. While earning her Master’s Degree, Nicole taught undergraduate classes in human development and family relations.

During her second year of law school, Nicole completed an externship with the Honorable Michael M. Baylson in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. During her third year of law school, Nicole was an intern with the Chester County District Attorney’s Office where she handled preliminary hearings at the District Court level and summary appeal trials and miscellaneous hearings at the Court of Common Pleas level.

Following her graduation from Villanova, Nicole worked as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Barbara D. Crowell and the Honorable Aida Waserstein in Wilmington, Delaware. Nicole joined The MacMain Law Group in July, 2013.
