Mr. Hofherr is Senior Counsel at Harris Beach in the Government Compliance and Investigations and the Business and Commercial Litigation Practice Groups. He represents financial institutions and other commercial clients in disputes often involving multijurisdictional or international implications. Mr. Hofherr has experience in all phases of litigation and arbitration including drafting pleadings and motions, issuing and responding to discovery, taking and defending expert and fact depositions, and conducting direct and cross examination of expert and fact witnesses at hearings.

Mr. Hofherr has defended global financial institutions from allegations ranging from breach of contract to violations of consumer financial protection statutes, including the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and the Electronic Fund Transfer Act (EFTA).
