J. Wallace Irvin is a shareholder in Lewis Thomason's Nashville office, where he focuses his practice on construction law with an emphasis on the representation of architects and engineers against claims of professional negligence. Mr. Irvin has also represented general contractors and subcontractors in labor and construction disputes. He also represents owners, sureties, design professionals, prime contractors and remote contractors in insurance defense and subrogation matters, particularly in the assertion and enforcement of mechanics’ and materialmen’s liens, performance and payment bond claims and construction defect disputes. Mr. Irvin is a Rule 31 listed mediator.

Mr. Irvin is licensed in Tennessee and Alabama.
