Member Bio

I have been an attorney since 2003. Prior to becoming an attorney I worked in banking, as a Senior V.P. at Bryn Mawr Trust Company. My first job upon completing law school was as a judicial law clerk for Judge Joseph O’Keefe, the Administrative Judge of the Orphans’ Court in Philadelphia County. After completing my judicial clerkship, I worked at Marshall Dennehey in the medical malpractice/healthcare group. At Law Offices of Robert Casey/Amy Loperfido since 2009, I represent clients at arbitration hearings, mediations, and jury trials. I have developed expertise in the use of social media as impeachment at trial. Outside of State Farm, I am an active participant in my community. I volunteer as part of a coalition of community organizations formed to assist refugees. I have coordinated annual dinner service events for the families at the local Ronald McDonald House. In addition, I served several terms as a Board Member for the Delaware Riverkeeper Network, a non-profit environmental group. As to professional memberships I am appointed to the Board of Directors, and recently completed service as President of the Philadelphia Association of Defense Counsel (June 2019-June 2020 program year) and we were honored to win the Janata Award from DRI. I am a member of former Congressman Joseph Sestak’s Legal Committee. In service to the Court, I serve as an Arbitrator for the Court of Common Pleas in Delaware County and Philadelphia County, and as a Judge Pro Tem in Philadelphia County. I continue to serve the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas as part of a six member working group to develop protocols for discovery and trials during the COVID-19 crisis, and meet regularly with the President Judge and other members of the working group, including members of PTLA. I volunteer for the Rendell Center, assisting with lessons on civic responsibility and mock trials for Philadelphia schoolchildren.
