Dr. Hughes is an Indianapolis-based practitioner providing remediation consulting services, and expert witness and litigation support to industrial clients and law firms across the country. She is an expert in polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB) forensics, fate and transport. Her experience includes investigations of inadvertently-generated PCB congeners, critical reviews of fate, transport and bioaccumulation models, and forensic analyses at high profile sites. Dr. Hughes is well-versed in data analysis, including advanced statistical methods such as principal component analysis, and data visualization. She has performed site investigations and remediations for landfills, a former manufactured gas plant, gas transmission facilities, a glass manufacturing factory, and multiple Superfund sites.
