Our world is more data driven than ever before, from social media and the Internet of Things (IoT), to data collection and cybermarketing strategies. Rapidly changing technology presents complex security, privacy, ethical, and legal implications, and consumers are more and more wary of how their data is used. Lawyers in virtually all practices must have some understanding of data security and privacy. While cyberinsurance coverage may help ameliorate some of these concerns, technologists and attorneys must understand where the gaps may lie in this coverage as cyberrisks rapidly transform. Moreover, they must have knowledge of cyberrisks that may develop five or ten years down the road and be prepared to communicate these risks to executives. Join experts from the technological and legal sectors who will present real-life examples and concrete advice on how information technologists and attorneys can both identify cybersecurity goals and integrate those goals into their organizations.

The registration fee is fully refundable for cancellations received on or before August 16, 2017. Cancellations received after August 16 and on or before August 23, 2017, will receive a refund, less a $100 processing fee. Cancellations made after August 23 will not receive a refund, but a $100 certificate good for any DRI seminar within the next 12 months will be issued. Processing of refunds will occur within four weeks after the date of the seminar. All refunds will be processed in the same method that the payment was received. Substitutions may be made at any time without charge and must be submitted in writing.
