Display event - 2021 Fire Science and Litigation Virtual Seminar

This half-day virtual seminar and training session will focus on fire testing, fire scene investigation, and investigation of fire impact on buildings and their occupants from code and technical perspectives. Presenters will use mock fire scene investigations to provide a primer on fire patterns, interpretation of their potential meanings, and application of the scientific method to rule out hypothetical causes. Learn about fire debris investigation, causation theories, and arc tracking, culminating in a full-scale flashover demonstration. Fire dynamics will be illustrated through video, mathematical modeling, and data of the fire development within the room. The day will conclude with a discussion of fire impacts on buildings and their occupants. The seminar will provide you with an opportunity to earn 3.5 CLE credits.   The registration rate is $150 for DRI members and $250 for non-members.
