The purpose of this compendium, sponsored by the DRI Governmental Liability Committee, is to provide an assessment of tort cap liability, immunities, and liability standards that apply to state and local governments. A table that breaks down these categories by state is included. The compendium is a desk reference for assessing liability and exposure and refers to the statutes that apply for these areas for each state and the District of Columbia.
